Bryony Hughes-Lamb MA

I was born and bred in the West Country, in an artistic family – my father was a watercolour artist and lithographer and my mother crafted leather and decorative metalwork.

On returning to Cornwall, I became interested in painting on silk. This in turn led me to working with art glass, both stained and fused - they offer such exciting design possibilities.

My creations are strongly influenced by extensive travel around the Mediterranean, the Middle East and North Africa, and by the stark beauty of Cornish life.

I particularly enjoy research and experimentation, to expand my creative horizons.
